Riemannian optimization and applications
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simula Research Laboratory within the SCAN department, working with Thomas M. Surowiec as part of the SURE-AI national AI research center of Norway.
I hold a Ph.D. in mathematics from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at NTNU. My main doctoral research was devoted to developing, analyzing, and implementing algorithms for convex (and sometimes nonconvex) nonsmooth optimization problems on Riemannian manifolds under the supervision of Prof. Ronny Bergmann. New topics I am looking into include large-scale optimization, geometric methods for integration, and variational analysis on Riemannian manifolds, especially in connection to Riemannian optimization currently.
