I hold a Ph.D. in mathematics from the Department of Mathematical Sciences at NTNU. My main research was devoted to developing, analyzing, and implementing algorithms for convex (and sometimes nonconvex) nonsmooth optimization problems on Riemannian manifolds under the supervision of Prof. Ronny Bergmann. New topics I am starting to look into include geometric methods for integration, and variational analysis on Riemannian manifolds, especially in connection to Riemannian optimization currently.
